I'm all out of words for you, chitlins

I've used them up while trying to finish the first (second? third? I've lost track) draft of the current WIP. I've set myself a deadline of completing the manuscript before my second semester of creative writing starts (yay!), which is next week. So I have some self-butt-kicking to do, and let me tell you, that's not pretty.

So while I finish up this draft and try to form more cohesive sentences here than "me like coffee" or "how I type so good?" why don't you tell me where you're at with your writing.

How's it going? Are you in first draft finish out like me, or just starting a new idea? Are you polishing up for queries or already sending them out? Are you languishing away in the middle of the plot land like I was a few weeks ago, no light at the end of the tunnel? Are you in the flurried first few chapters stage where the world is yours and there's no possible way you could burn out on this story?

Chitlins was the last word you had left? Makes sense, I guess. ;)

I'm doing some major rewrites to one novel, while the characters from my wip float around in limbo, so I've been a little scattered and confused.

Hope you kick that deadline's butt!

I'm adding some scenes to my current WIP that I skipped over in my initial outpouring. The novel I wrote last year needs another thorough revision before I take it to a workshop. Plus, I have a book I really want to start, but don't see that happening yet.

Polishing, polishing, polishing. In fact, hand me a dust cloth. I have more work to do!

Oh, just the smell of chitlin cooking makes me want to retch. You can smell them 2 blocks away. Ew. o.0

I'm writing a SNI and revising the last WiP...flipping back and forth.

Have a delightful weekend. :)
Love,
Lola

Just signed with an agent two weeks ago. Then last week, we submitted the first round of submissions to editors. Now this week, I'm beginning the sequel and the dreaded synopsis. To me, synopsis is a dirty word. If I'm ever mad enough to call you a synopsis, then you must have done something really, really bad!

YAY=Sequel
BOO=Synopsis
